At the centre of the village, Lapoutroie, the old coaching inn from the eighteenth century is the home of the “‘Musee des Eaux de vie”. The distillation of brandies is a process a little bit magical, sometimes secret, which goes back to the Antiquity. It’s also a real passion for Monette and René de Miscault who gathered a unique collection in this museum: equipment from our own distillery (funded in 1859), stills, collections of “mignonettes”, unusual liqueurs, spoons for the absinth…

Un musée patiemment enrichi au fil des années, depuis 1985… à découvrir à Lapoutroie, au cœur du Pays Welche, à quelques kilomètres de la Route des Vins d’Alsace.
